One-Ingredient Donuts with Canned Biscuit Dough
One-Ingredient Donuts with Canned Biscuit Dough
Ingredients:
1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or similar)
Instructions:
Prep the dough: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. If you want a traditional donut shape, use a small round cutter (or a bottle cap) to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit.
Fry the donuts: Heat about 1-2 inches of oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to around 350°F (175°C). Once hot, carefully place the dough into the oil. Fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Drain and cool: Remove the donuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Let them cool slightly.
Optional: Add your own toppings like cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, or glaze, but this step would technically add more ingredients.
