How I Make a Thick Tunisian Hat In the Round

im new to making videos on how to make a crochet project. Please be patient with me as I figure out a better way to accomplish thin:

Here is my pattern:
Bulky tunisian hat

2 strands size 4 yarn or a size 5 yarn
Size N or 10mm cabled hook at least 18 inches long from tip of hook to end of cable.

Ch 50 and join
2 rows ETSS
9 rows TSS. Should measure 6” from
Bottom to top of row 9 (11 rows total)

Start decrease on return of row 11

Finish off
Run 1 strand yarn through bind off and pull both strands inside. Gather and tie inside
