Today, on this Wednesday afternoon, I went to perform my Zuhr Salah, and as I briefly checked my phone, my heart broke once again. The sadness I felt quickly turned into a profound envy for my brothers and sisters, the martyrs who have found their eternal resting place. They have been liberated from this harsh world, while we remain here, enduring pain and struggles that seem unending. It’s hard to find joy in a world that feels so unyielding—nothing, absolutely nothing, seems to bring happiness anymore. I can't help but think of that innocent child taken in her sleep. How do we come to terms with such a loss? The weight of this reality is nearly unbearable, and I yearn for the peace that feels just out of reach.
