Nov. 8, 1964 - The Baltimore Colts took advantage of several Chicago mistakes today to score a 40-24 victory over the Bears and take a major step toward winning the Western Conference title in the NFL. The triumph, Baltimore’s eighth in a row plus second-place Detroit’s loss to Green Bay gave the Colts a 2½-game lead over the Lions with five games remaining.
