In this powerful first message of the 2024 Election Sermon Series, we explore the absolute lordship of Jesus Christ as proclaimed in Acts 10:36—"He is Lord of all"—and its profound implications on how Christians engage in the political and civic spheres. What does it mean to live under Christ’s sovereignty in a world driven by secularism? How should Christians think about government, family, and personal responsibility?

Drawing from John Frame’s Lordship theology and the biblical teaching on authority, we examine the four spheres of government—self, family, church, and civil—and how all exist under the authority of Christ. From Romans 13 to Abraham Kuyper’s famous declaration, "There is not a square inch in the whole domain of human life over which Christ does not cry, ‘Mine!’," this sermon calls Christians to reject secular compartmentalization and live with an integrated view of faith and politics.

The message also discusses the biblical principles of civic engagement, including honoring rightful authorities, resisting tyranny, and our responsibility to vote with biblical values. As Christians, our call is to glorify God in all we do, including in the political process.
