20240921 184430 Tux Outside Tentatively

I've been starting to get Tux used to the immediate neighborhood outside of the front door. Even though he used to be a outdoor stray cat with an urban range of at least 500 yards and interacted with strangers, people on bikes, nearby cars and directly-above landing aircraft as well as other cats and walked dogs, he's surprisingly shy now about even hearing voices of people that he can't even see around the exterior of the building. He WAS a very outgoing cat, so it's strange seeing him behaving like this at this point, only having been isolated like this for the past six months of his something-like three years of age.

I'm not complaining that he's being cautious, but it's just surprising to me.
