In the middle of the Israeli bombardment, displacement, and devastation Palestinian video journalist Bisan Owda reported on the ongoing war on Gaza.

In collaboration with AJ+ English, her documentary "It's Bisan From Gaza - and I'm Still Alive" won a News Emmy Award for Outstanding Hard News Feature Story. Her coverage brought the stories of Palestinians to a global audience.

Bisan told Al Jazeera that the recognition of her work documenting the war in Gaza gave her some hope for the future.
