Comino, formerly called Ephaestia is a small island of the Maltese archipelago between the islands of Malta and Gozo in the Mediterranean Sea, measuring 3.5 square kilometres in area.

Between the islands of Malta and Gozo is a very little (and quite tranquil) island called Comino, also known as Kemmuna in Maltese.

Only a few people live on the island, and both Maltese citizens and tourists typically travel there for a day excursion.
