The success of James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful” led to reissues of the previous 2 singles (“High” and “Wisemen”) and was followed up by the fairly successful “Goodbye My Lover” and “No Bravery”, a song about Blunt’s experiences as he led a NATO reconnaissance force into Kosovo in 1999.

Back to bedlam is the best-selling album in UK of the 2000s and was the best selling album in UK of the 21st Century until it was overtaken by Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black. It is currently the 18th best selling album in the UK of all time
