Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we take a quick look at prayer.

No, not how to pray. We are looking at how God responses to our prayers.

It is written in 1 John 5:14
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

And again in John 16 we read:
John 16:23
“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

John 16:24
Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

What does this mean? Is the Lord saying that all I have to do is ask for anything I desire and He will give it to me?
