Phone scam targeting Grand Traverse County residents.

The Grand Traverse County Sheriffs Department says a caller has been contacting area residents impersonating a deputy. The caller is telling people “They needed to take care of warrants or court paperwork by paying sums of money through bit coin or various other ways ;All these calls are scams; Said the Department.
