Are ETSU Buccaneers fans guilty of not backing their own players?

New ETSU head football coach Tre Lamb has, in order to stand by quart erback Jaylen King-
A- Told incumbent Tyler Riddell, who led the Bucs to their winningest season in history, to take a hike after an injury plagued 2023 season.
B- Selected King ahead of Cole Doyle, the 2022 Northeast Conference Offensive Player-of-the-Year.
C- Put two former FBS players, Gino English and Steven Johnson, on the bench behind King.
Yet despite the fact the ETSU passing game is inconsistent, there has been little clamoring for a new QB, even when a local product sits on the bench.
Is east Tennessee so apt to bow to master they won't even ask for one of their own to play?
