Who were these warriors from Scandinavia? While their reputation as bloodthirsty barbarians preceded them, their culture is much less well-known and much more refined than what was long thought. Stéphane Bern travels to Norway, to the shores of the Naeroyfjord, considered one of the most beautiful fjords in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is here, in the Scandinavian countries, that it all began for the Vikings, with their most famous leader: Ragnar Lodbrok.
