The lost 12 tribes of Yisrael, often referred to as the Black Hebrews of Yisrael today, are believed by many to be descendants of the ancient Yisraelites who were scattered throughout the world as a result of their disobedience to Yahuah’s covenant. Over time, these tribes have become "lost" in terms of identity and location, but various historical, cultural, and spiritual connections suggest that many of the descendants of these tribes are among the African diaspora, African American, Caribbean, and other people of African descent, as well as indigenous groups around the world.
