Super Mario Land, for the Nintendo Game Boy was the first game of Mario made for the portable console. It is the first game of the Super Mario series that does not take place in the Mushroom Kingdom, its the first game where you rescue a different princess (Daisy instead of Toadstool/Peach), and Bowser isn't even in this! At the end you fight an Alien from outer space name Tatanga...
