Today I’m talking to Dennis Riches, who is a lecturer and researcher at Tokyo’s Seijio University, and Johan Eddebo who works as an Associate Professor in Philosophy at Sweden’s Uppsala University. The two recently wrote a highly interesting piece in which the introduce a phenomenon they call “Belle-Epoquism” that explains why some of the social tendencies we see today are so reminiscent of the attitudes of the late 19th century.
