Riding a Pullman Standard 1700 Series Red Line train from Braintree to Downtown Crossing

Recorded on 10/5/24. Featuring William Scoufaras. Me and William finally made it out to ride the Braintree Branch of the Red Line. It was a great ride! With the signaling project nearly finished, we were able to travel at more normal speeds unlike our Red Line experience we had in 2023 on the Ashmont Branch. This was also my first time riding on the old Pullman Standard 1700 series trains which are from the 1960's. These trains will retire when the new signal system is replace and the remaining orders of the CRRC 1900 Series trains arrive. I hope they do not get rid of the Bombardier 1800 Series trains when this project is complete! Anyway, William helped me out with this video since my phone is a vampire and overheats anytime it is exposed to sunlight. I need a camcorder, lol! Enjoy the ride!
