Disclaimer: Shame on me for not looking at the map and knowing we were making a run to fish the Locks. Smallmouth down here notoriously pin baitfish between themselves and the wall of the locks, and I would've brought a composite cranking rod instead of my jerk bait rod. Still caught them, but the old DT 8 and 6 and Chippewa Baby DD by Nishine were not going deep enough. Oh well, still fun.
