The Film Companion is a web channel dedicated to promoting Indian cinema through film reviews, interviews, discussions, video essays and analytical compilations. Its main aim is to encourage informed discussion, criticism and review of cinema, and to this end the programs use short clips from cinematographic films, sound recordings and photographic works. These clips and extracts are minimal in nature and their use is not intended to interfere in any way with the commercial exploitation of the competing work by the copyright owners.
