Hiking Cadini di Misurina (Towers of Mordor) in the Italian Dolomites, Sept 2024

The Cadini is widely acclaimed as the most beautiful viewpoint in the Dolomites. Located just south of the Rifugio Auronzo (the starting point for the magnificent Tre Cime di Lavaredo), it is most often included in the Tre Cime hike. The trail is easy to moderate, and the payoff in incredible views is worth it, even if you're tired after a circuit of Tre Cime. Absolutely clear day with sunrise colors on the peaks. Managed to get a few drone clips, but you really don't need them to enjoy the expansive views of those towering peaks.
