Zombies. Disease, curse or superstition?

A zombie is a person who appears to have died but has been brought back to life by a disease or curse, but has no soul. It is believed that zombies only know the instinct to eat. It is assumed that people who have been bitten by zombies become undead themselves. The term zombie comes from the north of Angola and originally referred to a spirit of the dead. Many people believe that voodoo practitioners can also turn someone into a zombie with a curse. Until the 18th century, the Central European population also believed in the return of the deceased. It would be interesting to see if a zombie apocalypse could really happen.
Many scientists believe that mentally ill people can behave like zombies. There are numerous horror films, series and video games about zombies.
There are many theories about how zombies can be killed. The most common theory is that you should cut off their heads. Personally, I don't want to find out.
