Joker 2: Folie à Character

Normally on our channel we steer away from current movies or recent ones.
However the Joker 2 backlash intrigued us, and here is our take on it. The movie stars Lady Gaga and Jouquin Phoenix and is a sequel to the 2019 movie: The Joker. Both are directed by Todd Philips.

Now this is an alternate take on the character and of DC Comics lore. the 2019 movie as a major success, grossing over $1 Billion, a record for an R- Rated Movie at the time. Phoenix won an Oscar for his portrayal of Arthur Fleck (Joker).

With this movie, the bizarre decision to make it a musical was divisive. However we think the potential was there with the talent to make it work.
Everything that made the 1st movie work, is destroyed in this one. We believe they went out of their way to make it weird and crappy for reasons that go beyond clashes of egos and studios. GO see and judge it for yourself.
