S4 Ep 406 How David Prayed When He was Granted Peace

This episode continues our quest to learn about The Vitality of Prayer. Grab your Bible, a pen, and some paper and join me as we look at how David prayed when he finally found peace from the long years of conflict with King Saul in 2 Samuel 22..

After many long years, David finally finds rest from the conflict that started with Saul back when David was a young man. He expresses his thanksgiving to God in a prayer that evokes deep personal and emotional connections to the freedom found in God's salvation.

What happens when you repeat these phrases:
1. The Lord is my rock.
2. The Lord is my fortress.
3. The Lord is my deliverer.
4. My God
5. My rock - in whom I take refuge.
6. My shield.
7. the horn of my salvation
8. My stronghold
9. My refuge
10. My savior.

These are the declarations David makes at the beginning of this prayer.
