The flooding in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene was primarily due to the Lake Lure Dam. (They claimed) The dam was at risk of imminent failure due to the heavy rainfall brought by the hurricane" causing the Broad River to rise significantly.

Although the dam did not ultimately fail, the situation prompted evacuations and significant concern (The dam was not damage and only suffered heavy rainfall, but they still released Floodwaters into the community without giving warning escape)

My heart is what put these videos together. I died a long time ago -- I just haven't laid down...
