In the second mission of Halo: Reach, Noble Team faces their first major confrontation with Covenant forces as they move to defend the critical ONI: Sword Base. After discovering the Covenant presence on Reach, the situation escalates rapidly. Covenant troops have launched a full-scale assault on the Office of Naval Intelligence’s Sword Base, a vital stronghold housing top-secret research and technologies crucial to the war effort.

With the base under siege, Noble Team is deployed to drive off the attack and secure the area. Led by Commander Carter and supported by the rest of the Spartan squad, including the newcomer Noble Six, we engage in intense firefights against waves of Covenant troops, including Elites, Jackals, and Grunts. The mission requires precise coordination, as the Covenant’s forces are well-entrenched and determined to take down the base’s defenses.

Our objective is to neutralize the attacking Covenant forces, eliminate their ground units, and prevent them from breaching the ONI facility. As we battle through the battlefield, we gain a clearer picture of just how devastating the Covenant threat is and how critical Noble Team’s role will be in the defense of Reach.
