Close Encounter of the Manatee Kind

Enjoy them while you can. Florida springs and waters are dying from nutrients from septic systems and agriculture. The algae that eats it coats the vegetation, killing it so Manatee starve to death. There's still nice places in Florida but it's not like it was 40 years ago. Especially the birds taken a big hit.
