Poor little #CPACat1 was meowing for a minute or two while I watched him from a distance, because he always runs behind the fence when I try to get closer to him. When I was feeding him daily for about three weeks, I was able to sit about eight feet away while he ate, but he was always on-guard every moment.

Even though he's never comfortable being close to people, the fact that he vocalizes so much suggests to me that he's willing to engage with us. Perhaps this guy could eventually be content to be around people in time, were he to be fortunate enough to find someone to share their home with him.
