Dealing with judgement as a creative

I think every artist has experienced this. I see a lot of artists tell these judgemental people about their disabilities, only for "the judge" to quip back with " you're just faking it to get out of getting a real job." And it becomes this exhausting and nauseating exchange between one person just living their own way, and a person that can NEVER be reasoned with. I had a man in my kindred patronize me constantly because he thought all I did was "draw cool pictures " while being less judgemental towards someone else in the group who DIDNT EVEN HAVE A JOB...oh..but she was attractive. So at the end of the day, these judges aren't even worth arguing with or engaging with.
