The Callisto Protocol (revisited)

This game was my first live stream attempt on Rumble. Rumble has improved a great deal since then. My impression of this game is that it sucked ass when it came out two years ago. It was buggy, had janky controls, the only scares were jump scares, and it was poorly optimized, and worst of all, they put the true ending behind a paywall. Well, I'm not paying for the true ending, I got this game for free with my graphics card. They've had two years to fix any bugs and enhance the performance. Is my memory of this game unjustly negative because of teething issues or is it really a bad game? I'm going to give it another go, and if it's really bad then oh well.
