1990 - Bears at Lions (part 2 of 3)
Enhancement inspired by Dave Volsky | QB Rodney Peete enjoyed one of the finest performances of his career in a 38-21 win over the Bears. While the Bears used all three of their quarterbacks, Peete was carving the Chicago defense by completing 18-of-27 passes for 316 yards and a career-high 4 TDs. After staking a 7-0 lead, the Bears saw Detroit counter with three Peete TD passes in the second quarter on two Robert Clark TD catches and a 44-yarder to Richard Johnson. After the Bears' Richard Dent returned a fumble 45 yards for a TD, the Lions answered with 17 points, including a 68-yard TD grab by Terry Greer, a 1-yard scoring plunge by Barry Sanders and a 26-yard Eddie Murray field goal. Detroit's 411 yards in total offense are the most the club has amassed in a regular season game since a 26-23 loss to the Packers Dec. 15, 1985.
