Still, in the "Calm Before the Storm" that occurs before every election, Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey uses this time to overcome the first sinus issue of the cold season. It has been an ever-present reminder that WINTER IS COMING!

The 307th episode, "Floaters!" similar to episode 306, will cover a few interesting and timely topics!

First, Bilbrey lets the audience know he is getting better. However, he still hates titling episodes and making thumbnails - that will likely never change!

From there, we dive into an "unfortunate" Christmas Story incident! (SCREW YOU E. JACK! LOL). Before taking a quick detour BACK to the Muncie City Fire Department "Cheating Scandal" that Bilbrey hates every bit of!

Bilbrey then reminds everyone how many days we are away from "THE BIG DAY," otherwise known as Election Day 2024! He quickly covers the few other candidate interviews he will shoot before Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

From there, Bilbrey informs everyone that 'The Political Spotlight' will be LIVE STREAMING the second-to-last Muncie City Council Finance Committee meeting at 6 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. He also reminds everyone that the current plan for episode 308, set for Broadcast at 9 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, will at least partially include a "pre-recorded" interview with Republican Candidate for Lt. Governor of Indiana, Micah Beckwith.

Bilbrey asks the audience for any questions they would like him to ask Beckwith. Bilbrey then brings up the current controversy surrounding Beckwith's statement about "firing people who include their 'pronouns' in their email signatures!"

Moving on, Bilbrey references an article by Leslie Bonilla Muñiz in the "Indiana Capital Chronicle." The article is called: "Non-Voters Cite Disillusionment, Candidates and Complexity." That article can be found at the following link:

Bilbrey quickly touches on the 12-year sentence that former Clark County Sheriff and prominent Indiana Republican Jamey Noel received from Special Judge Larry W. Medlock from Washington County, Indiana.

Finally, after seven years, the "Delphi Murders" criminal trial is set to start Friday, October 18, 2024, with opening statements. The prosecution and defense picked a 16-person jury (Twelve main jurors and four alternates) from Allen County, Indiana. The jury will be sequestered in Carroll County for the trial, which is scheduled to run through Friday, November 15, 2024.
