Hammer & Forge [The Iron Hook] (Season 1)

Jin approaches Taka with a critical request, to craft a tool that will allow him to scale the towering walls of Castle Kaneda and rescue his uncle. Taka agrees but insists he needs his skilled assistant Yukio, to bring the plan to life. The catch? Yukio has been captured by Mongol soldiers and is held under tight watch. With no room for error, Jin must stage a quiet, calculated rescue to free Yukio without endangering the other hostages.

With Yukio’s safe return, Taka can finally complete the essential tool, a grappling hook. Yet, before Jin can storm Castle Kaneda, there’s another pressing matter… Ryuzo, Jin's childhood friend and leader of the Straw Hat Ronin, offers his support in the rescue of Jin's uncle. But first, Ryuzo needs Jin's help to free the imprisoned Ronin, captured by the Mongols and held at Fort Yatate. Jin sees this as the perfect chance to test Taka's invention, pushing the grappling hook to its limits in a daring mission that will serve as a prelude to the far greater challenge of Castle Kaneda…
