An entrance to a cave in Maghera, Donegal,Ireland

Maghera caves are located one kilometer from Assaranca waterfall. They are located beneath Slievetooey mountain. Some are accessible at a low tide from Maghera Strand. Access to the beach is via car park. Caves are located 200 metres from the car park.
The best way to visit caves is by kayak as some of them are not accessible even during the low tide. We were lucky to get there in the right thing me and see one of the caves that is closer to the car park.
