Dalton Knecht is the first Laker rookie to score 30-plus in a preseason game since at least 1996-97, per @EliasSports.
Knecht, who scored 13 of his 35 in OT, said afterwards: “Bron and AD said, ‘It’s time,’ so it was just time to take over.”
