SUV Ducked Traffic By Driving Backwards Out Of It — DANGEROUS!

The Ohio Department of Transportation video showed the white SUV reversing out of a line of traffic on U.S. Highway 33 using the entrance ramp to exit onto Gender Road. Eventually, it turned into a parking lot. The vehicle was in reverse the entire time. According to the timestamp, it occurred before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

According to KXAN, an ODOT spokesperson said speculated that the vehicle may have had transmission problems, but is otherwise unsure of a reason for the reverse driving. There were no injuries and it appears the driver was not located or identified.

The ODOT video ends with the line, “Please, don’t be that driver.” Transportation officials say if your vehicle isn’t running properly, pull to the side of the road and call for assistance.
