Smilin' Democrat Dan Despairs Over Party Betrayals

Of all Democrats in the public eye this election season, none has a sunnier disposition than Smilin' Democrat Dan who a regular who appears on the 2Way channel hosted by Mark Halperin. The guy just never stops smiling no matter how bad the news from his POV. You might disagree with Smilin' Democrat Dan but you still have to admire his attitude which is in stark contrast to most Democrats commentators at this stage of the campaign whose faces reveal extreme TDS rage. However, even Smilin' Democrat Dan's broad smile seemed to strain a bit when confronted with a Bob Casey ad in which the Democrat senator, running for re-election, is embracing Trump's policies. As Smilin' Democrat Dan and Mark Halperin pointed out, such a campaign ad (along with the ads of other Senate candidates in other battleground states) completely UNDERMINES the Kamala Harris message that Donald Trump is an unhinged Satan who is some sort of danger to Democracy.

The good news is that after that brief bit of uncharacteristic frustration, Smilin' Democrat Dan quickly returned to his normal happy mood. Hopefully other Democrats will follow Smilin' Democrat Dan's example after the election.
