Burnside's Bridge, Antietam

We left Bloody Lane and headed to Burnside Bridge where 500 Confederates held off Burnside's Corps for 3 hours. Several attempts were made by the Union to cross this bridge before they finally found Snavelys Ford undefended. Burnside drove back the Confederate Right until A.P. Hill arrived from Harper's Ferry at 4 pm stopping Burnsides attack and driving it back effectively ending the Battle.
