19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Something about what I read in Ecclesiastes this morning, that really got me to thinking about not just what matters in life, but about how we are to pursue life. It was also reminding me of some things that I have been learning out of James this past week, and I feel it important to share. I was also very challenged, and in deep thought over the questions out of this morning's devotional, and I also wanted to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them.

What does it mean to “store up treasures in heaven”?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share things that God has put on my heart concerning this morning scripture, as well as what it truly means to pursue eternity with God in mind, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, challenges, as well as motivate you to want to seek God first, and want to pursue true lasting treasure in heaven. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn for yourselves just what the real payoff is all about! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you to night, I pray that you will deeply think about what I have shared with you through these verses of scripture, on what it means to pursue life, with eternity and God in mind, and that you will choose to make God your priority and everything that you say and do. That you keep your heart and mind focused on the vertical, and not the things of this world, because as Solomon states so very well, it's all “vanity” and meaningless. I pray especially that you will choose to pursue God over the world, by seeking God first in everything that you say and do, choose to lay up those treasures in heaven for yourself, because they are the things that are most important. Don't be pursuing the things of this world, because they're not gonna last. That's the real payoff my friends, and I pray that that's what you pursue.
