Change is something we all seek, but often struggle to achieve. Here are three reasons why you might feel stuck—and how to break free.

Using the Wrong Source: Go to God.
We often seek change through our own strength or through worldly means, but true transformation comes from God alone. The Bible reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). When you rely on God as your source, you tap into limitless power that can truly renew your mind and heart.

Wanting the Answer Without the Work.
It's human nature to desire instant results, but real change requires commitment and perseverance. "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2:17). God has given you the tools and guidance, but you must be willing to put in the effort, trusting that each step brings you closer to the breakthrough.

Still Have a Slave's Mindset to Old Nature.
Sometimes, even though you desire change, your mindset is still chained to your old habits and ways of thinking. The Apostle Paul encourages us to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). It’s time to release the past and embrace the new identity that God has given you. Remember, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
