Not under law but under grace

God had laws in the Garden of Eden with which Adam and Eve were judged with, God wrote the 10 commandments on stone and had Moses place them inside the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place, Yeshua said that He did not come to abolish the law and not one dot or line would depart from it, yet Rabbi Paul said we are not under the law, but under grace. What does that mean?
