Midnight Train To Georgia w/ Deni Hines!

This video was recorded live at Apoteka in Bangkok, Thailand in August of 2020.
I was in Bangkok on business and decided to catch up with my old friend Keith Nolan ( / @keithnolanmusic ) and his band Cottonmouth at one of his gigs. I sat in with the band for a few songs...then another friend of Keith's showed up to sit in with the band....Deni Hines.

I had seen a video of Deni singing "Midnight train To Georgia" with Keith's band before, so I introduced myself and asked if she could do the song...and if I could do the Pips part? I assured her I knew the whole part and even had the moves. She agreed (although I'm sure she was thinking 'Who is this weird guy?').

You can see in the video, I won her over.
I was very excited to FINALLY be able to sing these backups without a guitar in my hands so I could bust out my Pips moves. Deni told me it was the first time she was finally able to do the song with someone who knew all the parts....and could sing!

It wasn't until just recently when Deni released her latest single "Breathe" ( • Breathe ) that I realized she's actually a big, big major Pop Star! With a career going back to the '90s!
I had no idea!
