10/22/24 card: intention

In my mind, an intention is like a plan or a goal. It’s the reason behind why you do a certain thing. I am trying to pay better attention to my intentions. Sometimes I agree to do something thinking my intentions are to be kind and helpful. But if I’m being honest, sometimes the true intention is to make me feel like a hero. In other words, I think it’s about helping THEM, but it’s really about making ME feel superior. Ouch, that truth nugget hurts a little.
