Biography
Andrea Lee, a versatile poet, writer, chef, and innovator, is a dedicated Poetry Teacher affiliated with the Los Angeles Poet Society and Cal Poets. She spreads her love for poetry throughout Los Angeles, teaching not only in classrooms but also at the YMCA, within the LAUSD system, and local Group Homes. Andrea inspires her students to find their unique voice and craft poetry that resonates with others.

As an accomplished author, Andrea has written works like "The Power to Change the Way to Love Yourself," "Expressions of Love," "Feelings of Love," "Courage & Betrayal," and "Connections Between-US," with her upcoming book "I Got A Story to Tell, Tale, Tail."
She's also venturing into children's book writing with her series "Cooking with Little Chef Lee &
Friends."

In addition to her literary pursuits, Andrea is Chef Lee, the owner of Grands Family Cooking, a Los Angeles-based catering service. She teaches cooking classes, life skills, writing workshops, and more, fostering positive connections in her community. Andrea's writing explores themes of love, loss, and betrayal, featured in various publications. She's also the creator of www.writingjourney101.com, engaging fellow artists and running her own publishing company, Writing Journey 101 Press. Andrea also is one of renowned originators of the “Creative Love Network.”
Andrea actively empowers her community through literacy programs for teenagers and young adults. As a proud mother of four and an alumnus of the Community Literature Initiative, she continues to make a positive impact on her city.
Andrea's poetry has graced venues like Inner Health Care Ink and Holy Grounds Cafe, exemplifying her dedication to sharing her passion and fostering connections.
