Finally figured out what was breaking my save files. Even better, I was able to save them! Actual progression tonight!

What a lovely video game about visiting a random laboratory, with nothing wrong or spooky or creepy or evil or residential happening in the background. Wait... what do you mean it's spooky season? Oh boy... here we go again.
