Jesus is Lord! Right? | Inside the Faith Loop

I am not sure what Christianity considers when they say, “Jesus is Lord”, or how the denominational landscape determines how Jesus is Lord. Is it being said for the sake of being provocative? Or are we truly convinced of what this means for the world at large, and in the scope of eternity? Are we rejecting Jesus as Lord just as the Israelites rejected Jehovah, by asking for a king? I truly believe we need to consider how we understand Jesus as Lord.
