The MAGATINI

In the large side of a Boston shaker, add 2 large rocks of ice. In the short half of the shaker added 2 dashes of orange bitters, next add 3/4 of an oz your favorite aperitivo (Campari is good example) then add 2-1/4 oz (one standard American jigger) of Jim Beam Apple (other apple flavored whiskeys will do as well as apple jack)

Shake vigorously for 20 seconds, strain into a martini glass or coupe, top to the rim with tonic water, and garnish with a thin slice of apple, and a cherry.
