How Should We Then Live?

Jeremiah's life was riddled with turmoil, betrayal and punishment. All because he dared to follow God's instructions in a time where it was not popular, or perhaps you want to say "politically correct".
But if we ourselves are facing the threat of persecution because of our beliefs, what from Jeremiah's example can help us find the strength to carry on?
