Frostpunk 2 | Showcase and Beginners Guide

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In This Episode I return to one of my favourite series of all time Frostpunk, with the hugely anticipated sequel Frostpunk 2. The Frostpunk series is an addicting mix of Strategy, RPG and City Building set in a Post Apocalyptic, steampunk setting. The game takes place in an alternate version of Victorian England called Frostland, following a catastrophic change in climate resulting in the planets temperature being drastically reduced. Mankind has been brought to the edge of extinction, however a group of entrepreneurs have built the last bastion of hope in the form of the generators, gigantic metal engines capable of creating life giving heat. It is in the shadow of the generators where the last bastion of humanity persists.

The events of Frostpunk 2 take place 30 years after the first game, with the City of New England struggling after the death of the previous Warden. With New Englands infrastructure fallen into disrepair, the player takes on the role of the new Warden, who must once again battle deadly weather, scarce resources, and the most deadly foe, human nature, as they repair and rebuild New England to ensure mankinds continued Survival

In addition to streamlining many of the features from the first Frostpunk, the sequel add several new mechanics, including a new district building system, and the new faction system, which requires the player to content with a Council Comprised of several political groups, each with their own opinions and agendas. All of the features of the previous game return including managing your resources, building and maintaining your city infrastructure, and making difficult decisions that have lasting consequences.

In addition to showcasing the Campaign, ive created this video to also provide some tips and tricks to assist gamers who are new to the series. Providing a guide on how to build and maintain your city in the early game, how to manage the factions and mount expeditions to explore Frostland
