Is Tank Davis Right To Want More Money For Lamont Roach Fight?

According to reports by Dan Rafael and others, the fight between Gervonta Tank Davis and Lamont Roach is in jeopardy. Apparently, Tank wants to get paid more than the 3 million dollars being offered by Al Haymon.

I don't know how true this is. But, the Fat man, Dan Rafael is reporting the Tank vs Lamont Roach fight is in danger of being canceled. For me it's simple. Tank wants Canelo-type money.

The problem is that Tank is not the draw that Canelo is. Back in June, Tank claimed that he was richer than Floyd Mayweather at 29 after signing a mega PBC deal.

Tank said in June that I'm at the point where I passed Floyd and I'm doing it at a young age. When Floyd Mayweather was 29 [he wasn't doing it like me], you'll see," said Gervonta Davis to Cigar Talk.

"That [6-7 fight] deal that I was talking about, that's bigger than his [Mayweather's] deal, and I'm just releasing it on here.

According to reports at the time, Mayweather's 2013 deal was worth $200m, which he had when he was 29. But Davis claims he has eclipsed the retired boxing icon.

If the reports are true. Then how can someone like Leonard Ellerbe say Tank is the face of boxing? But, he's not getting paid like Canelo. According to reports.

Canelo made sure that the PBC paid him $30 million guarantee per fight. And the money has to be in escrow before he steps one foot in the ring. How do you feel about this news?
