In Russia is a studio album by a German composer and big band leader James Last, released in 1972 (In Germany under title Russland Zwischen Tag Und Nacht - Russia Between Day And Night). The album was released after his visit to the Soviet Union in 1972 where his James Last Orchestra successfully performed in Moscow Palace of Sport for the audience of thousands and in Lensovet Theatre in Leningrad (St.Peterburg). Most of songs are covers of old traditional Russian melodies except his own composition Between Day and Night, a cover of Lara's Theme (From "Dr. Zhivago") by Jarre, a cover of Sabre Dance by Khatschaturian, and a cover of Midnight In Moscow by Solowjew-Sedoy.
